This year on Memorial Day and in honor of veterans, one of our attorneys, Angel Riley, was featured on KTSF, the Asian language television channel servicing the San Francisco Bay Area since 1976. Angel enlisted in the United States Army Reserve at the age of 17 and served a total of six years before becoming an attorney and business law professor at Skyline College.
During the interview, Angel was asked to discuss her decision to enlist, her experiences while in the service, her journey to becoming an attorney and professor, as well as her advice to young viewers watching the segment.
Angel recounts her experience on KTSF, “I grew up watching this station with my family and it is partly due to the station’s programming that I still have the ability to speak Mandarin Chinese. Thank you, Ms. Ling Chia Ku, for being a friendly and courteous interviewer. This was truly an honor and unforgettable experience.”
